Todd Brickson
Todd BricksonProgram Director - Todd begins his sixth year as the Program Director at Rowmark Ski Academy. For five years he was the Head Coach of the U.S. Ski Team Women’s Development Team. Prior to that Todd coached alpine skiing and taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Green Mountain Valley School in Vermont and Squaw Valley Academy in California. He has seventeen years of alpine ski coaching experience at all levels including the World Cup and World Junior Championships. Todd earned a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire (`87) in Zoology where he was the captain of the ski team, and is a certified International Level Coach of USSA.

Everett Young
Everett YoungMen’s FIS Coach and Equipment Manager - Everett joins Rowmark after six years of coaching at Killington Mountain School. Some of Everett’s highlights include:

  • Co-Head Men’s Coach at Killington Mtn. School ’05-06
  • Assistant Men’s Coach at KMS ’04-05
  • Head Women’s Coach at KMS ’01-04
  • Assistant Men’s Coach at KMS ’00-01
  • B.A. in Philosophy from Hamilton College, Clinton NY ‘98
  • extensive experience in ski equipment management, preparation and repair
  • extensive experience coaching in Europe and South America
  • Fluent in French, proficient in Spanish, learning German, lived in France for three years, South Korea for four years, and Taiwan for two years.

Olle Larsson
Olle Larsson Individual Project Coach - Rowmark co-founder in 1982 and former Program Director, Olle will be a part-time coach during the 07-08 season. A native of Sweden, Olle is fluent in four languages and studied scientific education in sport and skiing at the University of Grenoble, France. He is a co-author of World Cup Ski Technique and Cross-country Ski Technique. Before coaching junior racers at Rowmark, Olle coached at the University of Utah and at the World Cup and Olympic levels with the Canadian Women's Team.

Marie-Michel Tasse, Junior Program Director and Head J3 Coach
Marie-Michel Tasse Mari-Michel is returning for her eighth year and is a Burke Mountain Academy graduate, former Canadian Development Team member, and varsity skier at Williams College. In addition to her duties as Rowmark’s B and Junior program director, she is a ceramics and Art History teacher at Rowland Hall – St. Mark’s School.

"I’ve learned a lot from ski racing. Now I’m hoping to be an influence in our skiers’ process of becoming confident young adults and also in helping them meet their personal ski racing goals."

Craig Bowden
Craig BowdenHead Women’s Coach - Craig will be returning for his third year with Rowmark. Craig joined the Rowmark coaching staff this year with six years of coaching experience including being the Head Coach of Ford Sayre Academy Ski Team in Hanover, NH since 2001. He was the assistant coach there the previous two seasons. Craig has also been coaching at the Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camps since 1999. He is a graduate of Stratton Mountain School ('95) and of Colby College ('99) with a degree in Economics and a member of their Division 1 ski team. He is a USSA National Level certified coach.

Dave Kerwynn
Dave KerwynnHead Coach – Dave returns to Rowmark for his third year. Dave comes to Rowmark with vast experience including: U.S. Ski Team Men's Europa Cup DH/SG Coach '03-'05, U.S. Ski Team Men's World Cup Coach '02-'03, Australian Team Men's Head Coach '99-'00, Canada Men's Europa Cup Head Coach '97-'99, Canada Men's World Cup Coach '92-'94 and Whistler/Blackcomb Ski Club Program Director/Head Coach '84-'92. Dave will be coaching primarily our older men's FIS group along with Everett Young.

Thomas Eckfeldt
Thomas EckfeldtWomen’s FIS Coach - Thomas is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Personal Trainer. He also holds a certification from USA Weightlifting as a Sports Performance Coach. Most recently he worked as the Assistant Alpine Coach for the University of New Hampshire. Prior to UNH Tommy was Head Strength Conditioning Coach and Men’s Development Coach for Gould Academy in Maine.

Tommy holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from Colby-Sawyer College and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire. At UNH his master’s work focused on advanced vibration training as a sport specific modality for alpine ski racers.

He is an ex-ski academy racer (Gould Academy, Maine and Green Mountain Valley School, Vermont) and Vermont native (Waterbury Ctr). In his free time, Tom enjoys competing at the National and club levels of motorcycle road racing. In 2006 he was crowned the CCS/Northeast region Supertwin Champion.
