At Rowmark and RHSM we have a unique way of boarding students. There are no dormitories. Instead, student/athletes live with families who have children enrolled at RHSM. These families are screened and interviewed by the director of the Live-In Program. The live-in student is provided with the support and stability that is essential for academic and athletic success.

In recent years, live-in students have time and again expressed the following two reasons in support of the program: one, living in a home provides an environment conducive to good study habits and learning; and two, students have a chance after training and racing to relax by separating themselves from ski racing. This boarding method is widely and successfully used by athletic academies in Europe and tends to prolong the interest in and desire for the sport.
