Thank you for your interest in Rowmark
Ski Academy. We hope you'll take some time to learn a bit about
us
and call or e-mail if you have questions or would like
more information.
Rowmark Ski Academy was founded in 1982 by Olle Larsson
and Dr. Carl Kjeldsberg as part of Rowland
Hall-St. Mark's upper school (RHSM), a
275 student, college-prep school in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Today, the 25-30 Rowmark skiers are full-time students at RHSM and train
30 minutes from the campus at Park City's Olympic Race Arena,
site of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and Snowbird Resort, home to the world's best freeskiing.
Rowmark Ski Academy is for athletes 9th grade and up. Rowmark
skiers have the same graduation requirements as the other high
school students at RHSM, but do not have afternoon classes
from December through March. Training begins right after lunch.
Rowmark skiers race in the Intermountain Division of the United
States Ski Association. |
Since 1982 Rowmark skiers have had a great deal
of success in regional, national, World Cup and Olympic competitions.
The school is proud of their skiing accomplishments and the
careers they have chosen.
