Marie-Michel Tasse, Junior Program Director and Head J3 Coach Mari-Michel is returning for her eighth year and is a Burke Mountain Academy graduate, former Canadian Development Team member, and varsity skier at Williams College. In addition to her duties as Rowmark’s B and Junior program director, she is a ceramics and Art History teacher at Rowland Hall – St. Mark’s School.

in our skiers’ process of becoming confident young adults and also
in helping them meet their personal ski racing goals."
Justin Yarmark,B Team Head Coach
Justin
Yarmark is a former U.S. Development Team athlete. He raced Europa
Cups, NorAms and FIS-B races in North America, Europe and Asia. For two
years, Justin was ranked top 100 in the world in GS and Slalom and
finished in the top five in US Nationals championships in these events. He
finished his ski-racing career at Williams College where he captained the
varsity alpine team and raced NCAA championships and earned degrees in
Political Science and Economics.
Tyler Knibbe, B Team Coach
Tyler grew up in SLC, skiing all over the Wasatch Range.
He joins Rowmark this year as the new B Team assistant coach. Tyler worked
at Snowbird
coaching for 7 years and instructing for 9 years. He graduated from the
University of Utah with
a degree is Commercial Recreation Management. In the
summer he can be found guiding wilderness whitewater
river trips on the Salmon River in Idaho. A self-described bird-nerd, who
sniffs flowers and learn as much as possible about the world around him.
He loves to travel around the world in between
seasons. Tyler also enjoys hiking, camping and taking
photos around the west. In the winter, when not
setting gates, he tries to ski, telemark or snowboard
as much powder as possible.
Grayson Davis, Jr. Team Head Coach
Grayson Davis joins us at the Rowmark Junior Program coach. Prior to
Rowmark, Grayson coached the Waterford Ski Team and has coached the U.S.
Tele Team during the summers. He doubles up as a coach/trainer for the
Snowbird Mountain School. Aside from his love of skiing and coaching,
Grayson runs a freelance photography and digital imaging business.
Jackie MarTaIn, Jr. Team Coach
Jackie Martain grew up in Salt Lake City, UT at the top of big cottonwood
canyons near Solitude and Brighton Ski Resorts. She was on the Brighton
Race team from the age of nine to thirteen and then joined Rowmark Ski
Academy. Jackie graduated from RHSM in 2005. Jackie competed in the
2005-06 NCAA's while attending Boise State. Jackie is currentlly enrolled
at the University of Utah working on her Bachelors of Exercise Sports Science
degree. She has always had a passion for skiing as well as helping
others. Jackie is coaching with Rowmark for her second season and looking
forward to working with the athletes.
Leigh Stokes, Love to Ski Head Coach
Leigh
Stokes joins us as Rowmark "Love to Ski" Program Head Coach.
Leigh is a Green Mountain Valley School graduate, former University of Vermont
Ski Team Captain ('93-'94), and a member of two NCAA National Championship
Ski Teams ('92, '94). A 1992 NCAA All-American, she was also a member of
US Development
Team ('88, '89) and the US Collegiate Ski Team at the World University Games
in Sapporo, Japan ('91). After leaving the US Women's Pro Tour in 1994 due
to injury, Leigh has coached at the J3 and J4 level at Stowe, VT, and Sugarbush,
VT, for several years.
Kami Kahler, Love to Ski Coach
With over 25 years as ski instructor teaching all abilities and
ages, Kami Kahler brings great insight and ideas to the Rowmark Program.
She focuses on the Kinder and Love to Ski emphasizing fundamentals,
structure and most of all, fun. She has a lot of experience dealing with
spirited young children. She has two boys 6 and 4 that keep her busy.
Kami loves cycling both mountain and road, and in the winter skate skiing,
telemark skiing and working with Rowmark.
Cassidy Doucette,Love to Ski Coach
Cassidy Doucette grew up in Sun Valley, ID and raced for the Sun Valley Ski
Team until 2005. She was on Junior Olympic teams from age 13 on, as well
as the Western Region Team as a J-2 and J-1. She has traveled and skied
all over the country, as well as Argentina and Canada. Cassidy was a
coach for the Sun Valley D team during the 2005-2006 season. She is a
student at the University of Utah in the Nursing program.
Missy Tschabrun, Love to Ski Coach
Missy Tschabrun attended Saint Lawrence University for whom she raced
throughout college. Upon graduating, she taught math and coached at Burke
Mountain Academy. She now joins Rowland Hall - St. Mark's as an upper
school math teacher, and Rowmark as a Love-To-Ski coach.
Gretchen schramm, Kinder Coach
Gretchen Schramm grew up in Holladay, Utah, where she spent much of her free time enjoying the slopes at Snowbird and Alta. For the past two winters, Gretchen taught skiing at Snowbird. She has worked with children aged three to fifteen many of who have been with local programs including Waterford, The Cottonwood Country Club and The Jewish Community Center. Gretchen is majoring in International Studies at the University of Utah, and plans to graduate in December 2007. When not attending classes or teaching skiing, Gretchen loves to hike, travel, backcountry ski, rock climb, and cook. Gretchen's enthusiasm for skiing and her talent with young children combine in her position as a ski coach, and she is very excited to begin her work with Rowmark.
Charles Turco, Kinder Coach
Charles Turco has been ski coaching / instructing since 1991. He is a certified level III PSIA Ski Instructor with experience in teaching children and adults beginners to experts. He has coached and taught at Attitash Mountain, Taos Ski Valley, and Park City Mountain Resort. Charles grew up in Danvers, MA and learned to ski in the mountains of New Hampshire and Maine. He graduated from Providence College with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in Business Studies. He lives in Park City with his wife Rebecca and their two dogs.
